Starting Base Pay Rate: $25 / hour
Availability:
Open availability to work both shifts and all days of the week. Two shift times are from 0800 - 2100 and 1430 - 2330
** RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* + Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information
+ Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
+ Preserve order and enforce rules, regulations, and directives for the viability of the site
+ Greeting guests and employees, assisting where appropriate; escorting visitors and contractors, secure ingress and egress points, secure classified information
+ Follow-site specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via oral and written communication; interacting with client and/or other security personnel regarding order execution when appropriate
+ Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms; act as a first responder in emergency situations and provide first aid as necessary

* Minimum Requirements:
*
* + Be at least 21 years of age
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
+ 3+ years of prior law enforcement, military, adult corrections or armed security experience is required
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
