Housing Monitor; Emergency Program

Location:

Atlanta, GA 30313. Position:
Part Time with Benefits (20+ hours).

Education:

High School Diploma/GED. Salary: $11.00 per hour. Shift: Overnight. Category:
Housing.

• Ensure rooms are in proper order before residents arrive; check fire equipment for proper working order.
• Check clients into the facility, prepare and monitor intake cards, maintain resident roster and property records.
• Distribute towels, linens, personal hygiene items, and secure client medications as required.
• Monitor residents’ activities for safety and compliance, check security of windows and doors, monitor cameras, and make periodic rounds of the facility. Record any unique situations during the shift.
• Respond calmly to emergencies and initiate appropriate corrective actions according to established policies and procedures.

Meet attendance requirements; read, write, and communicate in English; respond quickly and calmly to emergencies; perform combinations of sitting, standing, and walking on a frequent change basis; walk, stand, lift and carry light objects (less than 25lb.) 5‑10% of the work time; duties are usually performed seated with brief periods of standing or walking.

• One (1) year experience performing security or social service work preferred.
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
