Overview

Security Program Manager role within the AWS Data Center Security team in the Georgia/Atlanta area. Lead security and security-systems projects and programs in the data center environment. Collaborate across diverse teams of project and program managers to design, install, and evolve physical security systems including intrusion detection, access control/management, CCTV, screening, and emergency response. Manage interdependent projects with regional impact and interpret Threat Assessments and AWS Physical Security Standards to implement appropriate mitigations.

Ensure data centers meet high physical security standards and that local security teams have the knowledge and resources to sustain the mission.

• Project Management for physical security systems related to new construction, expansion, and retrofit projects.
• Prepare physical security project lifecycle management including bid packages, specifications, drawings, code compliance, vendor management, budget, change orders, and close-out documentation.
• Maintain knowledge of emerging physical security technologies to assess applicability within the AWS physical security program.
• Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for leadership to inform strategic decisions regarding technology and procedure.
• Balance performance metrics such as vendor service delivery, budget variance, cost reduction, post-installation defect rates, and program analysis.
• Manage vendors for onboarding, RFQ, bid, contract, QA/QC, and support processes.
• Effectively manage multi-million dollar budgets for infrastructure projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate across teams and support global initiatives.

• Experience working on physical security design and implementation of Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders regarding physical security standards and system designs.
• Experience delivering physical security projects or programs within an enterprise setting.
• Background in Physical Security Design, Security Systems Deployment, Physical Security Operations, Security Architecture, or Construction Management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or physical security designs.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams across geographies and business units without formal authority.
• PSP, CPP, PMP Certification; training in CPTED; experience with Lenel Access Control System.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your package may include sign-on payments and RSUs. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
