Full Time Mission Support – Atlanta, GA, US
Location:
Greater Atlanta, GA (Covington, GA / Lithia Springs, GA / Jackson, GA)
Shift: 40 hours, M-F
Contractor, 36 months. Reports to PGI Senior Security Program Manager.
Oversee the design and installation of physical security features and systems, including Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Camera Surveillance, Passive and Active Barriers, and other security capabilities consistent with customers’ security standards and public sector requirements. Manage security program for new data centers, expansions, and special security projects.
Responsibilities- Lead physical security design and system installation for new data centers, expansions, and special projects.
- Provide physical security project lifecycle management, including specifications, drawings, code compliance, vendor management, budget, change orders, and close‑out documentation.
- Manage contract execution, QA/QC, and support processes.
- Represent physical security team acceptance, sign‑off, and operational readiness validation for high‑security facilities with other customer teams.
- Report performance metrics such as physical security system installation, vendor service delivery performance, post‑installation defect rates, physical security program analysis, etc.
- Collaborate across teams to drive security projects.
- Provide weekly project updates to the customer Security Program Manager Team Lead.
- Other duties as required.
- 5+ years of experience with physical security design and/or implementation of electronic security systems such as Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV Surveillance.
- 2+ years of experience in program or project management, leading technical and non‑technical teams focusing on physical security standards and designs.
- Familiarity with project management, design, and construction software.
- Proficient understanding of construction plans, elevations, and other design and construction artifacts for architectural, mechanical, electrical, civil, and telecommunications plans.
- Demonstrated ability to learn complex systems quickly.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills.
- Occasional travel within a 50‑mile radius of the assigned site.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Ability to pass pre‑employment drug screen and periodic random drug screening, and a background check.
- Training and administrator certification with Lenel Access Control Systems.
- Training and experience with Axis camera and Commend Intercom systems.
- Training and experience with Traka key management systems.
- Project Management Professional Certification.
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, and Blue Beam Revu.
- Knowledge of ICD 705 and IC Tech Spec – IC 705.
- Military officers, non‑commissioned officers, warrant officers, and former Federal GS employees encouraged to apply.
- Graduates of SAMS, ILE, USASMA or equivalent courses.
- Previous battalion or higher echelon staff experience.
- This position requires lifting, standing, walking, sitting, and bending throughout the workday.
