Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Public Patrol in Atlanta, GA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $19.10 / Hour
Job Schedule: Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Thu 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
What You'll Do- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, and document observed activity according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity to help support authorized entry, provide directions, and report security‑related concerns to site contacts and/or local responders when needed.
- Communicate with property management, tenants, and/or Allied Universal personnel regarding daily activities, maintenance concerns, and incidents that may impact normal operations.
- Possess 2 or more years of security‑related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
