Daytime Security Officer

BOS Security is now hiring for a full‑time position in the Atlanta, Ga area.

Schedule:

Monday‑Thursday 5am‑3pm.

Applicant must be able to:
Make hourly patrols; have and maintain strong professional customer service skills; show up to work on time in uniform and ready to work.

• Exceptional customer service skills and experience interacting and communicating professionally with customers/guests.
• Patrol buildings and grounds on foot while making rounds every hour on the hour.
• Greet guests warmly at front gate as they make their way onto the property.
• Examine doors, windows, and gates to determine that they are secure.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles, and apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
• Inspect equipment and machinery to ascertain if tampering has occurred.
• Watch for and report irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, and security doors left unlocked.
• Observe departing personnel to guard against theft of client property.
• Sound alarm or call police or fire department by telephone in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property.
• Register at watch stations to record time of inspection trips.
• Record data such as property damage, unusual occurrences, and malfunctioning of machinery or equipment, for use of supervisory staff.
• Regulate vehicle and pedestrian traffic at access points to maintain orderly flow.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Security, law enforcement, military, or other related experience and/or training preferred.
• Stable work history.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Clean driving record.
• Pass a pre‑employment drug screening test and a background check; can pass random drug testing.
• Smartphone, a valid driver's license, and own working transportation (no drop‑offs/public transportation).
