As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for tenants, visitors, and guests. Your primary responsibilities will include managing access control, monitoring badge credentials, and responding to alarm panels, all while providing outstanding customer service. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a professional presence and communicating clearly with everyone who enters the building.

Day Time Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist visitors, tenants, and employees at the front desk, providing a welcoming presence and addressing inquiries as needed.
Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Maintain detailed logs of visitor and contractor activity, following site-specific policies and procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to appropriate personnel when necessary.
Communicate professionally with building management, tenants, and Allied Universal team members regarding security-related matters.
Support emergency response activities as directed by site-specific protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
Operate security-related technology such as access control systems, visitor management software, and surveillance equipment as required.

Minimum Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
