Position Type:
Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

Job Schedule: Monday 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM, Thursday 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM.

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, public officials, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and document observations, incidents, and/or policy‑related issues in accordance with site expectations.
• Support public‑facing operations by assisting with directions, maintaining a professional presence, and reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious activity through appropriate channels.

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Have at least 1 year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• An armed guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
