Position Type:

Pay Rate: $21.62 / Hour
Schedule:
- Saturday: 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM
- Sunday: 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors, public officials, and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and help to enforce entry procedures for employees, contractors, and/or visitors, verifying credentials and reporting suspicious behavior or policy violations.
- Support public health and administrative operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and assisting with security-related concerns in accordance with local laws and Allied Universal standards.
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
- Must have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a DD214 with honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
