• Monitor security events daily to detect suspicious activities and identify potential threats and violations.
• Establish vision, direction, and specific objectives for team efforts; promote collaboration.
• Maintain strong partnerships with security guard force, vendors, associates, Facility Managers/Leadership, and business unit leaders to ensure seamless communication and effective decision‑making.
• Promote HR policies and procedures in people‑management activities.
• Conduct communications requiring cooperation on complex or controversial issues; use negotiation and persuasion to build agreement.
• Engage in external communications with high interpersonal and negotiation skills to build long‑term relationships, typically with middle‑level contacts in customer and vendor organizations.
• Account for the effective delivery of Physical Security projects to achieve strategic and operational objectives.

• BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of experience within security management, including at least 5 years managing or leading others; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
