Serve as a Training Instructor for the Training Services Bureau (TSB) located at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, Georgia. Provide instruction in law enforcement, develop coursework, update content to achieve course objectives, and serve in areas including arrest process, restraining devices, searching techniques, defensive tactics, non‑lethal control techniques, intermediate weapons, officer safety and survival, use of force, physical fitness, emergency response (CPR and trauma management), officer response tactics, and water safety and survival.

Develop, present, evaluate, and revise training courses and instructional materials. Evaluate student progress, customize training methods, prepare lesson plans, research case law, and ensure alignment with organizational policy and educational techniques.

Prepare and administer registration activities, analyze processes, provide status reports, and provide advice on training systems and devices.

Travel: occasional to other FLETC centers for training.

Current USCP sworn employee below the rank of Sergeant, holding the rank of Private First Class, and successfully completed probation by the closing date. Must have or obtain a Federal Law Enforcement Training Accreditation (FLETA) program or equivalent. Valid REAL  U.S. driver's license. Full and unrestricted duty status. Flexible hours, rotating shifts, and possible midnight assignments. Physical agility and dexterity required.

• Full and unrestricted duty status to attend required training.
• No disciplinary actions for last 3 years.
• Valid REAL  U.S. driver's license.
• Available for flexible hours, rotating shifts, and possible midnight assignments.
• Meet all physical, instructional, and certification requirements for FLETC PTD instructors.
• Complete Physical Efficiency Battery (PEB) with minimum score ≥ 40th percentile in each element.
• Complete required instructor certifications: LEITP, LEFCTP, LECTITP, UOFITP, BTMITP, BFAST, FLETC ITAP, and any additional department‑required certifications.
