As a Security Officer Patrol Examiner in Atlanta, GA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations with strong customer service and communication. - Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site‑specific procedures, screening practices, and other security‑related duties at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, trailer yards, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to control access for staff, contractors, deliveries, and transportation personnel.
- Observe operational areas for irregular conditions such as damaged gates, unsecured doors, lighting issues, and/or policy violations, and document findings according to post procedures.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
