As a Security Guard Armed Patrol Operations in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will interact professionally with employees and visitors while providing clear communication and customer service.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining professional conduct and compliance with applicable laws and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
