The Role Covers The GDBA Atlanta posting centers on physical protection and logistics for a high-trust client environment. The day includes watching property through a command center, screening visitors and vendors, controlling access to protected sites, and coordinating security plans around movement and medical response.
* Monitor property using tools and technology from the GDBA Command Center.
* Screen visitors and vendors, then control access to protected sites.
* Coordinate and execute security plans and respond to medical emergencies.
* Provide physical protection and logistical support at client homes and while traveling.
* Provide secure transportation when needed.## What The Hiring Team Requires The role calls for a serious fitness and licensing standard. GDBA lists a physical readiness test, swimming ability, no drug or nicotine use, background screening, and the ability to obtain state firearm and security licensing. Candidates must also complete the 12-day introductory training academy in San Antonio and live within 40 miles of Atlanta, or be open to relocation.
* Pass the physical readiness test with pull-ups, push-ups, sit-ups, and an 800m run.
* Be able to swim.
* Be drug and nicotine free.
* Pass a background check.
* Be eligible to work in the United States and complete the training academy.## Pay And Apply The posted earnings start at no less than $64,000 in first-year base earnings and can reach up to $77,000 for Atlanta-based Protectors, depending on prior experience, training performance, and promotion timing.
