Security Supervisor (Security)

The Fox Theatre in Atlanta is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Security Supervisor.

The Security Supervisor will supervise all security functions related to both public and private events, at the direction of the Security Manager, including serving as the Security Lead or liaison in the absence of the security Manager. The Security Supervisor will oversee all life safety and security personnel to ensure a safe and enjoyable guest experience for internal and external guests.

Major Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Security Lead during public events including overseeing the day-of execution of security plans for front and back of house needs, personnel and equipment deployments, general crowd management, artist meet & greets, and other special requests as needed.
• Oversee all aspects of the security screening process and credential requirements for event attendees and backstage guests (artists, crew, stagehands, etc.) as required by each event.
• Disseminate information related to credentials or access to other Security Officers.
• Limit loss and damage by reporting and documenting any irregularities (trespassers, building damage, leaks, unsecured access points, etc.) and by informing violators of policies and procedures.
• Complete event reports for each public event.
Coordinate event security specifics and emergency responses with on-site local life safety for each event, including police, fire, medics, etc.
• Assist the Security Manager in the implementation of event documentation, planning, and execution when necessary.
• Other duties as directed.
