Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer – Lobby Receptionist in Atlanta, GA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a busy financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming employees and visitors while supporting access control and visitor check-in.
You will monitor lobby activity, answer questions with a service-first approach, and communicate concerns to the team. With Allied Universal, you will bring integrity, teamwork, and an agile, reliable presence that helps support a secure environment.

- Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor access to the location by greeting and screening visitors, confirming appointments and/or authorization, issuing temporary badges per site policy, and directing individuals to the appropriate areas.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
- Operate and monitor front desk systems such as phones, visitor management logs, alarms, and/or camera feeds, and report unusual activity according to established protocols.
- Complete accurate written reports and shift documentation, including incident reports, access logs, and client communications, and elevate concerns through the chain of command.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
