Event Security Guard

Join BEST Crowd Management at Kennesaw State University events to support safe, enjoyable experiences for guests. As part of a professional, well-trained team, you'll monitor entry points, check credentials, assist with guest directions, and help manage crowd flow for games, concerts, and campus events. You'll follow clear safety and security procedures, document incidents, and provide courteous customer service while working closely with supervisors and teammates.

This role offers flexible, event-based hours, paid training, and opportunities to grow within BEST and the Garda World network.

Responsibilities

• Monitor venue entry and exit points and enforce access control procedures
• Check tickets, credentials, and bags in accordance with venue policies
• Provide directions and customer service to guests throughout events
• Support safe crowd movement and manage lines and seating areas
• Observe and report safety, security, or guest issues to supervisors
• Respond to incidents following established protocols and document details
• Communicate effectively via radio and with event staff and supervisors
• Follow all safety, security, and emergency procedures during events
