Security Agent - Houston, TX

ACTS-Aviation Security Inc. is seeking an Aviation Security Agent for the George W. Bush Intercontinental/Houston Airport in Houston, TX. The role involves carrying out aviation security functions as prescribed by Transportation Security Administration rules and regulations.

Pay: $16.00 per hour

• Inspect airline catering equipment and check for any unauthorized items in accordance with TSA security rules.
• May be required to perform aircraft monitoring according to airline carrier security specifications.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Report to Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager, depending on unit size.
• Activities are overseen by Lead or Senior Lead, depending on unit size.

High school diploma or GED

• New employees must complete an FBI Criminal History Records Check (SIDA Badge) and a confirmed 10‑year background check.
• Must not have been convicted of any listed FAA/TSA Disqualifying Crimes.
• Ability to bend, push, and lift up to 30 pounds regularly.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Hold a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Must be willing to work in cold temperatures.
