How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service to appropriate personnel, maintaining clear communication with on-site teams and emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor cameras, access control systems, radios, and other communications equipment; document observations, incidents, and dispatch activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and support for retail and entertainment district operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business district and perimeter when assigned, reporting security-related concerns and unusual activity.

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
