Lead Fire & Safety Technician

Remote/Field-Based – Travel up to 25%
About the Role

We’re seeking a hands-on Lead Fire & Life Safety Technician to take point on fire alarm and special hazard suppression system installations and service work. This is a field-forward leadership role—you’ll guide technicians, troubleshoot complex systems, and ensure all work meets strict safety, code, and quality standards.

This is not an office-based management position; it is a senior, hands-on field leadership role

• Install, program, test, and commission fire alarm and suppression systems
• Lead technicians in daily field execution and task completion
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair system components and wiring issues
• Ensure all work complies with NFPA, local codes, and company standards
• Support customer handoff and system operation walkthroughs
• Assist with emergency service calls when required

• 5+ years of fire alarm or suppression installation/service
• OR strong high-level electrical experience in related systems
• Experience with programming or advanced troubleshooting (preferred)
• FASA/BASA, NICET, or other relevant certifications (preferred, not required)
• Strong field leadership and hands-on problem-solving ability
• Company vehicle, tools, and equipment provided
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in tight spaces
• Occasional on-call/overtime and up to 25% overnight travel
