Experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician

Providence Real Estate is seeking an Experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to support daily operations at our well-maintained Stratford apartment community in Sandy Springs, GA
. This is a full-time opportunity for a skilled, dependable professional who takes pride in their work, values consistency, and can operate independently in a residential apartment setting.

This role is best suited for a technician who is comfortable handling a wide range of maintenance responsibilities, from routine service requests to more complex troubleshooting. Pay: $25-$29 per hour, based on experience

• Diagnose and complete HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance repairs
• Prepare apartments for move-in (make-readies) to company standards
• Complete service requests efficiently with minimal supervision
• Maintain curb appeal, common areas, and preventative maintenance schedules
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for maintenance emergencies
• Communicate professionally with residents and the onsite team

As an Experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the overall condition, safety, and appearance of the community. Your work directly impacts resident satisfaction and helps ensure the property remains a place people are proud to call home. This position requires strong troubleshooting skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage tasks independently while collaborating with the property team as needed.

Rotating on-call duties

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of apartment or residential maintenance experience
• HVAC certification required
• Proven troubleshooting and repair skills
• Ability to work independently and responsibly, and meet deadlines

Candidates should be reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable responding to maintenance needs in a residential environment. Prior apartment maintenance experience is essential, as this role requires familiarity with service request workflows, unit turns, and on-call responsibilities.
