Full‑time, MON–FRI 7:00 am–5:00 pm

As a Full‑time Field Service Technician/Driver, you will work in our regional FMI (Fastenal Managed Inventory) Technology Service Centers and on customer facilities. You will perform installation, service, repair, and removal of industrial vending machines, bin systems, and other FMI technology devices while providing world‑class customer service.

• Travel to Fastenal locations and customer facilities to install and service FMI technology devices.
• Assemble, clean, recondition, and test devices using work instructions.
• Test and repair mechanical and electrical components of the devices.
• Train customers on device use and software.
• Complete checklists to ensure all process steps are followed.
• Communicate with the department manager and Fastenal team members.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Comply with safety regulations.

• Current, full, valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including any required graduated license). Must meet Fastenal driving record requirements.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Current Health Card or ability to obtain one.
• Maintain DOT‑regulated Driver Hours‑of‑Service.
• Willingness to drive interstate routes across state lines.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong problem‑solving, deductive reasoning, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Highly motivated, self‑directed, and customer‑service oriented.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities.

• Willingness to travel with overnights required.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• Physical ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages up to 70 lbs.
• Pass required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam only).

• Mechanically inclined.
• Driving experience.
