Compensation and Qualifications
  • Can earn up to $700 biweekly with efficiency bonuses*
  • Needs to have or be able to obtain a valid Chauffer's license*
  • If you are an experienced Trailer Tech for Class 8, please apply. If you are a technician who can do both Trailer and Diesel, please apply*
What You’ll Do
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair our customers' commercial tractors and trailers.
  • Write detailed work orders for mobile road calls and/or in yard.
  • Provide quality customer service.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair semi-truck and trailer bodies, systems, and components.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on fleet semi-trucks and trailers.
  • Maintain hubs and axles and adjust or replace them when required.
  • Inspect, service, and replace tractor and trailer parts, including tires.
  • Check and repair the brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Test all systems and equipment for performance issues.
  • Ensure that trailers meet the U.S. Department of Transportation's road safety requirements.
  • Compile inspection reports, document repairs, and report all findings to management.
  • Respond as soon as possible to client queries.
What You’ll Need to Have
  • 5+ years of verified experience in commercial semi-trailer repair.
  • Body work, fabrication, and more are needed with this role *****.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift 100+ pounds.
  • Basic computer skills to submit repairs for billing.
  • Follow oral and written instructions to complete daily tasks.
  • Basic reading and writing skills to complete customer repair orders.
What Will Help You Stand Out
  • Experience with welding; certification a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, technical school degree, a plus.
  • Class A CDL.
  • Your own tools.
