Location: Atlanta Campus (Location subject to change)
Salary Range: $31,200 - $44,123
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m.
- 3:45 p.m. (Shift subject to change)

The Maintenance and Operations Department is seeking (1)
Air Conditioning Mechanic I to join the already awesome team taking the Building Maintenance Department to the next level of excellence!

Here Is What You Will DoThe Ideal Candidate Will Perform Skilled Manual Work Involving the Repair And Installation Of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, And Heating Equipment. In addition to supporting the Department's Air Conditioning Mechanic I, you will also:
- Overhaul and service refrigeration, air conditioning, and heating units by repairing or replacing worn parts.
- Inspect equipment for needed repairs and perform routine maintenance.
- Test refrigeration units for leaks; add gas to refrigeration units.
- Monitor valves and gauges to ensure proper operation; adjust valves, pipes, etc., as needed.
- Change and clean oil and air filters.
- Assist in installing air conditioning and heating units and related equipment.
- Clean work areas and equipment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Technical or vocational degree and one year of HVAC experience, or a high school diploma or GED and three years of HVAC experience, or a combination of education and related experience.

Preferred Hiring
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of basic procedures, tools, and equipment used in the HVAC trade.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to access confined spaces.
- Ability to work in open areas, rooftops, etc.
- Ability to climb ladders and scaffolds.
- Ability to operate tools and equipment used in the HVAC trade.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
