Mobile Forklift Service Technician

A day in the field

You start your morning reviewing digital work orders, load your service van with parts, and head to a customer site. A forklift is down—production is waiting. You quickly diagnose the issue using diagnostic tools and software, explain the plan to the customer, and complete a safe, efficient repair. Before you leave, you update service records, reconcile inventory, and share insights with the team so everyone stays aligned.

• Repair and maintain forklifts and other material handling equipment with professionalism and care
• Diagnose technical problems accurately and resolve them quickly
• Deliver exceptional, customer-first service on every visit
• Document service calls thoroughly and manage truck/parts inventory
• Collaborate with a supportive team and engaged managers
• Adopt new tools and emerging industry technology
• Work to the highest safety standards at all times

• High school diploma required; technical training or degree is a plus
• Hands‑on experience as a technician in Forklifts, Heavy/Diesel, Automotive, or Aerial Platforms (MEWP)
• Strong troubleshooting instincts and systematic problem‑solving skills
• Clear communication and great people skills
• Self‑directed, organized, and excellent with time management
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between customer sites
