General Mechanic - Day Shift

General Mechanic, East Point, GA

Shift: Day 5:00am - 3:30pm Monday thru Thursday

Starting Pay $29.20 - $32.00 per hour based on experience
Wage Progression every 6 months until your reach the target rate of $32.00.

$1000 sign on bonus, $500 after 90 days and $500 after 180 days.

This position requires experience in industrial maintenance encompassing areas such as packaging, filling, electrical work, piping, pump operations, fabrication, and troubleshooting.

As a General Mechanic, you will be a critical part of the production team, ensuring that all equipment and machinery are performing at top notch! Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and service facility systems.
• Performs skilled maintenance and repair services of facility systems such as mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics; implement methods, practices, and techniques of maintaining building and facilities to identify and address recurring problems with machinery, equipment, or parts.
• Conduct periodic inspections to evaluate requests for repair.

Qualifications

• Prior electrical experience is required.
• One to two years of previous maintenance experience is preferred.
• Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools for repair and maintenance tasks.
