Service Foreman

Whitco is seeking a Service Foreman to join our Atlanta or Florida offices.

• Inspect for unsafe work environment. Notify supervisor and safety director or any unsafe conditions immediately.
• Properly maintain and manage all tools and equipment assigned to you.
• Track your own hours worked on a daily basis including filling out time sheets and/or punching clock as required.
• Understand project scope of work and proper repair procedures.
• Maintain a positive attitude and appropriate attire.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures.
• Attend required training sessions and safety meetings.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures listed in the employee handbook.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

Experience:

• Commercial Roofing Foreman: 3 years (Required)

Whitco is seeking Roof Technicians to join our Atlanta or Florida offices.

Candidates must have a great attitude, be self-motivated, detail oriented and a team player. It is important that candidates are proactive in a fast-paced, dynamic, rapid-development environment.

• Responsible for the procurement and accountability of materials and equipment required for all work orders from approved vendors.
• Understand workflow and job processes within the company.
• Must be trustworthy and able to work for periods unsupervised.
• Must demonstrate teamwork and willingness to get along with others.
• Must show a desire to learn, and be a self-starter.

• Organizational, Analytical, Problem Solving and People Skills
• Commercial and Industrial roofing experience.
• Experience with:
  Single-Ply, Modified, BUR, Metal, Shingles, Tile, and Coatings.
• Able to lift and climb up & down ladders.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years relative experience in the commercial roofing industry
• Spanish a plus

Whitco is seeking an Inspector to join our Atlanta office. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting roofs and providing accurate inspection reports to the estimating department.

Candidate must have a great attitude, be self-motivated, detail oriented and a team player. It is important that this candidate is proactive in a fast-paced, dynamic, rapid-development environment.

• Travel to customer’s locations and inspect roofs.
• Communicate with customers and assess roofs as directed.
• Measure roofs, take core samples and perform overall roof take-offs.
• Work closely with the sales department, estimating department, service department and operations department to provide them with accurate information for the creation of proposals for customers and project completion.
• Ensure customer databases are updated.
• Understand workflow and job processes within the company.
• Work with Production Division to quantify accurate costs for means and methods.
• Enter detailed Scenario Notes in the Edge to inform Account Executive of what has been included in the estimate.
• Thoroughly review and understand all construction documents (plans, specs and addenda) for projects you are estimating.
• Understand workflow and job processes within the company.

• Computer skills (proficient in MS Word, Excel and Bid Estimating Software)
• Commercial and Industrial roofing experience
• Experience with:
  Single-Ply, Modified, BUR, Metal, Shingles, Tile, and Coatings
• Able to climb up & down ladders.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Understanding of specification driven bidding processes.
• Ability to read/interpret architectural drawings and perform project take offs.
• Valid driver’s license

• High School Diploma or equivalent
