Regional Car Wash Maintenance Technician

LUV Car Wash was founded in September 2021 and has grown to over 80 locations across six states—California, Nevada, Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. We are looking to add a Maintenance Technician to our evolving team to continue our mission to become the best car wash in the industry.

The Maintenance Technician will maintain the mechanical and electrical car wash equipment in an assigned region, performing general preventive maintenance on all car wash components, repairing, troubleshooting faulty equipment, conducting facility repairs, and documenting site visits per LUV Car Wash policy.

Non-Exempt

• Lift 25/50/80 pounds regularly.
• Move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
• See clearly and respond to dangerous situations.
• Safely climb ladders while carrying 40 pounds or more.
• Work in extreme weather.
• Work in a wet environment and wear PPE correctly throughout the day.

• Maintain the mechanical and electrical systems at approximately 5-6 car washes in an assigned region.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical components in car wash systems.
• Troubleshoot faulty equipment and make necessary repairs to normal operation, including pumps, motors, hydraulics, tunnel equipment and electrical components of MCC, Controller and other electrical items.
• Help Operations team with select facility work such as concrete, plumbing, electrical, framing, appliance or ground repair.
• Order necessary replacement parts and keep stock of necessary spare parts on hand to reduce Carwash downtime.
• Work with Regional Service Manager, Dispatch and Operations team to ensure proper scheduling of projects/repairs.
• Conduct site inspections to find or complete preventative maintenance/repairs on equipment such as hydraulic hose, air compressors, and conveyor chains.
• Install and/or assist with installation of new carwash components as needed.
• Address and repair emergency breakdowns in a timely manner.
• Adhere to OSHA guidance and safety protocols.
• LOTO compliance procedures.

• Flexible work hours in case of emergency repairs.
• Opportunity to work overtime for on-call responses to emergency repair.
• Ability to consistently work 4pm to 1am during twilight.
• Ability to consistently work 4am to 1pm during sunrise.
