E-Bike & E-Scooter Technician in Atlanta
eStar Rides is Atlanta’s premier shop for electric bikes and scooters — and we’re looking for a hands‑on technician to join our growing service team. If you’ve got mechanical skills and a passion for electric mobility, this is your chance to work with cutting‑edge rides and awesome people.
As an E‑Bike & E‑Scooter Technician, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of electric vehicles — from commuter scooters to high‑performance fat tire e‑bikes.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect, diagnose, and repair electric scooters and e‑bikes
- Replace components like motors, controllers, brakes, and batteries
- Perform routine maintenance, firmware updates, and safety checks
- Communicate repair status clearly to customers and team
- Keep a clean, organized work area and follow safety procedures
Skills:
- Hands‑on mechanical or electrical repair experience
- Comfortable using tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to lift ~50 lbs and work on your feet
- Familiarity with scooters, e‑bikes, or small engine tech a plus
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
- LEVA or e‑bike technician certification
- Experience in bike shops, auto, or electronics repair
