Our technicians are responsible for providing superb customer service by diagnosing, visual inspections, removal of parts and attachments, warranty repairs, performing preventative maintenance services, repairing lights and wiring, welding, cutting and other repairs.

This position reports to the Service Manager, is a 40 hour a week position and is eligible for overtime. For well-qualified, proven efficient applicants, we also offer a flat rate compensation plan. This position also qualifies for a monthly bonus incentive based on your upsales.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of prior dealer experience or 7 years total diesel experience.
• Fluent in software such as Davie, Cummins, Service ranger, and Bendix acom.
• Experience in Cummins claim filing.
• Understand the requirements for warranty coverage and the ability to assess warranty coverage.
• Perform engine reconditioning - in frame and out of frame.
• Perform basic job tasks such as electrical diagnostics, clutches, brakes, wheel seals, P.M. services, DOT and associated paperwork.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability are required.
• Operate power and hand tools and other equipment safely.
• Read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Dress professionally and communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors, and other contacts.

Physically demanding job: stand six to eight hours per shift; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, handle and feel; use hand and power tools; lift parts weighing up to 70 pounds several times during each shift; use hoist and test equipment; exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials.
