Scaffold Supervisor

Position Summary

Scaffold E&D Foreman/Supervisor in Atlanta, GA.

• Safely and effectively supervise a crew or supervise and direct up to three Foremen, each of whom may supervise up to three Lead carpenters, to erect and dismantle various types of scaffolding without direct and continuous supervision of the E&D Supervisor or E&D Construction Manager.
• Serve as the competent person on site as required by OSHA and by Sunbelt Competent Person Procedures.
• Execute project management tasks: time and schedule management, cost control, customer communication, identification of problem areas, and implementation of solutions.

• Combined experience as Scaffold E&D Carpenter, Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenter and Scaffold E&D Foreman1 for a minimum total of five years or approved equivalent experience.
• Trade school preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations regarding scaffolding.
• Strong understanding of various types of scaffolding materials to ensure intended loads are not exceeded.
• Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights.
• Project management skills, including time management, scheduling, cost control, customer communication, problem identification, and solution implementation.

The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 40 pounds or more, and working indoors or outdoors as required.

Base Pay Range: $24.05 - $30.06 per hour.
