Overview

A reputable construction company in Atlanta is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. This position is open to Indian nationals who are interested in starting their career as a Carpenter. The ideal candidate will have a passion for carpentry and a willingness to learn and grow with our company.

• Measure, cut and shape wood and other materials according to project specifications
• Install structures, fixtures and fittings such as windows, doors, trim, cabinets and furniture
• Follow blueprints and building plans to ensure accuracy and quality of work
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Adhere to safety protocols at all times
• Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers and team members
• Keep the work area clean and organized at all times

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training in carpentry preferred
• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and use various measuring tools accurately
• Strong knowledge of different types of wood and their characteristics
• Good physical stamina and manual dexterity for lifting heavy materials and operating power tools
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
