Description
Trades Helper – Facilities Renovations, Facilities Management Services.
LocationAtlanta Campus
ScheduleMonday‑Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:45 PM (shift subject to change)
Salary Range$35,600 – $42,700
Key Responsibilities- Clean work areas, sweep, collect trash, assist in demolition activities, and move supplies and equipment.
- Perform routine repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Assist and participate in sanding sheetrock.
- Pull electric cables.
- Assist in checking and testing meters, relays, heating, and air-conditioning equipment.
- Clean work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Change light bulbs and perform related work as needed.
- Transport tools and equipment to and from storage and work areas.
- Operate simple power tools, such as belt sanders and electric drills.
- Operate vehicles to pick up and deliver supplies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED and at least six months experience assisting carpenters, electricians, or other skilled trades employees.
- Valid Georgia driver’s license.
- Knowledge of building trade tools, methods, and practices.
- Understanding of occupational hazards of building trades and safety precautions.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and strenuous manual tasks.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
