Job Title:
Network Engineer Lead / Telephony SME

Location: Atlanta, GA (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands‑on Network Engineer Lead / Telephony Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead enterprise voice and contact center initiatives centered around Zoom Contact Center. This role requires deep technical expertise in enterprise telephony, VoIP, and network infrastructure, along with proven experience leading complex communications projects.

This is a technical leadership role responsible for designing, implementing, and stabilizing a large-scale contact center environment while ensuring optimal voice quality and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead enterprise deployment and optimization of Zoom Contact Center
  • Serve as the technical SME for telephony, VoIP, and contact center architecture
  • Design and manage call flows, IVR systems, queues, and routing strategies
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex voice and network issues impacting call quality
  • Partner with network teams to ensure optimal performance (QoS, latency, jitter, packet loss mitigation)
  • Manage SIP trunking, number provisioning, and carrier coordination
  • Act as technical project lead for voice/contact center initiatives, including planning, execution, and cutover support
  • Collaborate with vendors, stakeholders, and internal IT teams to ensure successful delivery
Required Qualifications
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Zoom Contact Center
  • Proven experience leading enterprise telephony or contact center projects
  • Deep understanding of VoIP, SIP, RTP, and voice routing architecture
  • Experience troubleshooting production voice and contact center environments
  • Demonstrated ability to serve as technical lead on complex communications initiatives
  • Strong problem‑solving skills in high‑availability, mission‑critical environments
Work Arrangement
  • Must be able to work onsite 4 days per week
