Responsibilities:

• Design various types of scaffolds and order required materials to maintain workflow.
• Perform necessary documentation such as delivery/pick‑up tickets, timesheets, extra work authorizations, safety plans, JSA’s, scaffold inspection checklists, and other required paperwork.
• Act as a mentor and coach to Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenters, aiding in their development.
• Supervise crews, including up to three Lead Carpenters and associated crews, to erect and dismantle scaffolding under the supervision of the E&D Foreman 2 or E&D Supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA rules and regulations regarding scaffolding and safe work practices.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years as a Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenter or equivalent experience.
• Some trade school preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights.
• Bilingual a plus.

Knowledge/

Skills:

• Strong understanding of different types of scaffolding material and load limits.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to scaffolding.
• Capability to supervise and direct up to three Lead Carpenters and their small crews.

Physical Demands:

Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 40 lb or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required by the job.

Base Pay Range: $21.38 – $26.72 per hour, commensurate with experience, location, training and other factors.
