Responsibilities- Provide troubleshooting, repairs, and full installations for advanced commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, compressors, pumps, rooftop units, and building automation systems.
- Use modern tools such as laser alignment and vibration analysis to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
- Serve as a trusted expert to customers, explaining solutions and ensuring systems run efficiently and reliably.
- Collaborate with a strong team, sharing knowledge, supporting apprentices, and growing your own expertise.
- Several years of experience working on commercial or industrial systems.
- Competent troubleshooting of equipment such as chillers, boilers, pumps, compressors, and related systems.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including alignment and vibration diagnostics.
- Excellent communication skills with teammates and customers.
- Universal EPA refrigerant license.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Participation in the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices.
This is a Bargaining Unit Position. Hiring compensation range is $32.95‑$41.18 per hour, determined by the Local UA and the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The position includes a competitive benefits package. Union participation must be accepted within 365 days of employment.
