HVAC Mechanical Technician Apprentice; union

• Perform all pneumatic control systems and mechanical equipment service as assigned by the Employer.
• Execute all other work covered by the labor agreement, within the apprentice’s capabilities.
• Follow the direction of the Employer on all assigned tasks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Respond to basic warranty calls.
• Keep JCI, contractors, and the customer informed of job progress and issues as needed.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with HVAC.
• The ability to perform general building repairs.
• Self‑starter with the ability to work independently.
• Current driver’s license.
• Willingness to supplement on‑the‑job training with training provided through the apprenticeship program.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Preferred: EPA Refrigeration certification.
• Existing union membership.

This is a bargaining unit position. Pay range: $23 – $28 hourly, determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
