- Perform all pneumatic control systems and mechanical equipment service as assigned by the Employer.
- Execute all other work covered by the labor agreement, within the apprentice’s capabilities.
- Follow the direction of the Employer on all assigned tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems.
- Respond to basic warranty calls.
- Keep JCI, contractors, and the customer informed of job progress and issues as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with HVAC.
- The ability to perform general building repairs.
- Self‑starter with the ability to work independently.
- Current driver’s license.
- Willingness to supplement on‑the‑job training with training provided through the apprenticeship program.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred: EPA Refrigeration certification.
- Existing union membership.
This is a bargaining unit position. Pay range: $23 – $28 hourly, determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
