Commercial Tire Service Technician
As a Commercial Service Technician, you will be accountable for properly and safely performing tire and related services needed for commercial tire users in our truck care center and on the road. Experience isn't required as on‑the‑job training will be provided.
Responsibilities- Service commercial tires, including dismounting and mounting any type of tire.
- Train to perform match mounting, dual assembly mating, and radial runout as necessary.
- Inflate tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
- Perform roadside service calls on a rotating on‑call schedule.
- Determine repairable tire conditions and make such repairs.
- Remove tires for retreading or repair as needed.
- Properly execute required service ticket to submit to management.
- Respond timely to customer service calls, diagnose issues, and perform on‑site repairs and/or replacements.
- Clean and maintain service equipment.
- Maintain assigned service vehicle, including the appearance of on‑board equipment.
- Provide “Service Excellence – Always” to meet service goals of the location and customers.
- Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements.
- Wear proper PPE, use tire cages, and follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
- Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting.
- On‑call schedule on a rotating basis, including nights and/or weekends.
- Valid driver’s license meeting commercial driver qualification requirements; must be at least 21 years old.
- No relocation offered for this position.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous commercial service tire experience.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Commitment to follow all safety procedures and work safely.
- Ability to work in a results‑oriented, fast‑paced team environment.
- Self‑starter willing to take initiative, work without direct supervision, and attend training sessions.

Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour; full‑time, day shift, 8AM – 6PM with on‑call, weekend availability, Monday to Friday, holidays.
