Senior Fire Sprinkler Inspector

Position Location: This role supports our Norcross, GA branch location, which serves customers throughout the greater Atlanta, GA area.

• Provide inspection, testing, and service for wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge fire sprinkler systems; backflow prev enters; water tanks; fire hydrants; foam-based systems; water mist systems; and fire pumps per NFPA 25 standards.
• Complete required documentation, including deficiency repair recommendations.
• Provide subject matter expertise to peers.
• Discuss noted deficiencies, remedies, and pricing with customers and follow up on corrective actions.
• Follow and maintain highly structured inspection schedules.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all tests performed. Generate reports within Siemens tools and upload to required city municipality websites.
• Perform service and deficiency repairs on all fire sprinkler system types.
• Complete service ticket documentation and inspection reports before leaving customer site.
• Provide instructions to customer personnel regarding proper operation and routine inspections; assist with training.

• NICET Certification in Inspection and Testing Water-Based Systems Level I or state certification.
• On-the-job experience with reading and understanding design and construction documents, estimating impairments, deficiencies, and service repairs.
• 2+ years of experience performing Inspections, Testing, and Maintenance (ITM) of Fire Sprinkler and/or Fire Life Safety Systems.
• Ability and willingness to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet.
• Ability and willingness to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted.
• Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle program.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

• High school diploma or state-recognized GED.
• 5+ years of experience performing Inspections, Testing, and Maintenance (ITM) of Fire Sprinkler and/or Fire Life Safety Systems.
• Must obtain NICET Certification in Inspection and Testing Water-Based Systems Level III or state certification within 12 months.

Pay Range: $45,410 - $77,846 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
