Glazier

As a Glazier you will be responsible for installing glass in various structures including residential and commercial buildings, vehicles, and furniture. You will measure and cut glass to fit specific dimensions, install glass panels using various techniques such as glazing or weather stripping, and repair or replace damaged glass. Your role will require physical strength and stamina as well as attention to detail to ensure proper installation and safety standards are met.

This position is based in Atlanta and offers a salary of $1600 per month on a contract basis.

• Measure and cut glass according to specifications
• Install glass panels using various techniques such as glazing or weather stripping
• Repair or replace damaged glass
• Work with a variety of tools including cutting tools, pry bars, pliers, hammers, and suction cups
• Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents or injuries on the job site
• Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service
• Keep work area clean and organized

• Proven experience as a Glazier or in a related field such as carpentry or construction
• Physical strength and stamina for lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods of time
• Attention to detail for precise measurements and installation
• Knowledge of different types of glass tools, techniques, and safety procedures
• Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings is an asset
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers

A high school diploma is required. Additional training in glazing or carpentry is preferred.

This position is based in Atlanta.

$1600 per month on a contract basis.
