Overview
Insight Global is seeking an experienced Solar Field Foreman to oversee the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and completion of commercial solar projects throughout the USA. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being in the field, solving problems, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities- Manage commercial solar installations ranging from 10 kW to 1 MW
- Supervise both rooftop and ground-mounted PV projects
- Coordinate subcontractors, installers, and commissioning activities
- Perform system commissioning and verify proper operation before project turnover
- Troubleshoot electrical, communications, inverter, and system performance issues
- Travel to project sites throughout the Southeastern United States as needed

- Minimum 5 years of commercial solar experience
- Travel to project sites throughout the Southeastern US
- Proven experience managing commercial solar field installations
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical and system issues
- Experience commissioning commercial PV systems
- Hands-on experience with:
- Solar Edge inverters
- APS (APsystems) microinverters
- CPS inverters
- NABCEP certification (preferred but not required)
- OSHA 30 certification
