Entry Level Repairs And Service Technician
Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for entry level repairs and service across a wide array of electrical/mechanical equipment. Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations. This position will support our Audio Visual & Event Technology team. The position follows a in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of Atlanta, GA.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesRepair, inspect and maintain rental inventory of electric chain hoists, winches, and other electrical/mechanical equipment. Repair, inspect and maintain electric chain hoists as a service for other companies in the entertainment and tradeshow industries. Reconfigure chain hoists in rental inventory as required by rental demand. Communicate regularly with Service Manager regarding maintenance concerns, repair parts inventory, and product improvements. Interpret exploded views, electrical data, and wiring diagrams.
Assist in essential duties and responsibilities as defined in job description for Equipment Inspector. Attend production meetings as required. Designate tasks to all hoist technicians on a daily basis. Determine daily workflow for all hoist technicians.
High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate es Degree Preferred. Certificate of Completion or Degree from accredited college or trade school related to the field of electronics is preferred. Preferred 1-2 years of related experience within rigging production and/or warehouse operations.
Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsMust maintain a valid state driver's license. Various Industry Standard Certifications Preferred (examples include): CETa, ETCP, ISF.
Travel RequirementsTravel 25% to 50%
