Conducts diagnostic, troubleshooting, service and repair tasks for fuel, electrical, mechanical, brake, cooling and hydraulic systems on heavy mobile equipment;
Completes routine maintenance tasks (oil and filter changes, lubrication, brake, etc.) on all Heavy Mobile Equipment per manufacturer and SA Recycling recommendations;
Replace worn or defective parts, disassembling and reassembling major components like power trains and crawler heads;
Overhaul and test major systems including engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems;
Maintains accurate service records on all work performed; coordinates scheduling with yard General Managers
