Tile Setter
We are a reputable construction company looking for an experienced Tile Setter to join our team in Atlanta. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of tiles in residential and commercial properties. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and precision.
Responsibilities- Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled, ensuring accuracy and proper layout
- Cut tiles using tile cutting tools to fit around obstacles and into corners
- Prepare surfaces by removing old tiles, filling gaps, and applying adhesives
- Install tiles using appropriate materials such as grout, cement, or mortar
- Ensure tiles are properly aligned and levelled
- Seal and finish installed tile surfaces
- Repair or replace damaged or cracked tiles
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Proven experience as a Tile Setter or similar role
- Strong knowledge of tiling techniques, materials, and tools
- Ability to read blueprints and follow design plans
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail with excellent measurement skills
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Salary: $1300 per month
City:
Atlanta (open to Malayalees, Filipinos, English speakers)
Experience:
No experience required but previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred.
Accommodation:
Not provided. Must have own accommodation within commuting distance of Atlanta.
