The Technical Service Technician will provide support to new and existing customers for compressed air treatment products and systems.
This position requires travel on occasion for training but will not be more than 5% of the time, and the person will work from the company’s headquarters in Atlanta.

Areas of Responsibility:For all areas of support, customers can come in the form of intern alas well as external.
Most customers for this role will be internal.
Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues with Company air treatment equipment utilizing telephone, e-mail, and Internet support.
Supports internal and external customers in performing part identification.
Performs in-house calibration as needed for specialty sensors.
Tracks all returns with accurate data entry into our business management system.
Provides data to support written reports as necessary or as requested by the customer.
Process warranty& claim services according to MRP requirements.
Inspects and tests malfunctioning equipment, following manufacturers and Company’sspecifications,and using test and analysis instruments.
Must be able to read and understand schematic drawings, technical manuals, wiring diagrams, airflow sheets, and P&.
Disassembles malfunctioning equipment and removes, repairs, or replaces defective parts, such as refrigerant compressors, valves, or controllers.
Support Technical Service Training to BEKOdistributorsasrequired.
Other duties as assigned.
Demonstrated ability to understand and analyze product warranty
Demonstrated ability to use ERP systems as well as MS Outlook, MS Word, & MS Excel.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Skills:
Background of a service technician or engineering background
Electrical troubleshooting and understanding of elementary motor control circuits
Problem-solving to identify, analyze, and resolve issues promptly
Ability to clearly communicate technical information verbally and in writing
