This is a full-time, on-site Auto Glass Technician role based in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. The Auto Glass Technician installs, repairs, and replaces windshields and other vehicle glass, ensuring proper fit, seal, and safety standards. Daily tasks include inspecting vehicle glass for damage, preparing surfaces, using appropriate tools and materials, and performing calibration or adjustment as needed. The role involves communicating with customers about service needs, providing clear explanations of work performed, and maintaining accurate service records.
The technician is also responsible for keeping work areas, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and in safe working condition, while following all safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Candidates should possess skills in Vehicle Maintenance and general Maintenance & Repair to ensure safe and reliable work on customer vehicles.
- Candidates should possess skills in Oil Changes and basic Automotive Repair to support related mechanical needs that may accompany glass work.
- Candidates should possess skills in Suspension awareness and general vehicle systems knowledge to handle vehicles carefully during glass installation and repair.
- Experience in auto glass installation, repair, or related automotive body work is highly beneficial.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely, read work orders, and follow technical instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to work on-site in varying weather conditions.
- Excellent customer service skills and clear communication with customers and team members.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; ability to meet physical demands such as lifting glass and standing for extended periods.
