VOX ATL welcomes applicants to apply to serve as a spring semester near-peer intern to support our out-of-school programming. Poets at VOX ATL will be able to meet to discuss craft, performance, and the business of poetry. Interns will have the opportunity to co-facilitate workshops, peer edit teens’ content, support program evaluation, create a welcoming VOXy environment, connect with and engage participants, and continue to develop their own professional leadership skills.
This role is ideal for someone who is looking to continue to build their own poetry skills while providing mentorship and support to others doing the same. This role is great for those who enjoy working collaboratively in an intergenerational environment and enjoy being a part of a project from start to finish.
Responsibilities- Help develop agendas and facilitate poetry workshops for teen poets.
