Position: RESIDENTIAL ASSISTANT

Responsibilities

Black Bear Lodge is a 144‑bed residential treatment center located in the serene forest foothills of northern Georgia. We provide integrated treatment for co‑occurring addiction and mental health concerns, offering a comprehensive program that addresses the needs of the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.

  • Perform regular wellness checks on patients.
  • Chart significant events regarding patient treatment.
  • Perform ground and room safety checks throughout your shift.
  • Facilitate assigned groups as necessary.
  • Process new intakes and discharges of patients.
  • Administer and record vital signs, accompany/monitor patients to off‑site events/activities and appointments as needed.

Qualifications Requirements for Position
  • Valid driver’s license with trustworthy driving history.
  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
