Georgia Tech Office of Development (DEV)
Our fundraising team at Georgia Tech currently consists of more than 100 professionals who are focused on securing transformative philanthropy (major and principal gifts) to support the strategic priorities of the Institute and its colleges, schools, and programs, including Georgia Tech Athletics. For fiscal year 2024 (closed 6/30/2024), the Development team's efforts resulted in over $243 million in new gifts and commitments in support of Transforming Tomorrow:
The Campaign for Georgia Tech which will secure more than $2 billion in new commitments and gifts from individuals, foundations, corporations, and other organizations. One of the most significant priorities within Transforming Tomorrow is ensuring access of the brightest undergraduate, graduate, and professional students to Georgia Tech, regardless of their socioeconomic backgrounds. This position supports the Institute in fulfilling its responsibilities for gift compliance by ensuring expendable and endowment funds are expended in accordance with donor intent and that administrative obligations of the gift agreement are met; assists campus partners on matters related to gift compliance, such as interpretation of donor intent and gift repurposing process; and ensures proper stewardship of all funds is maintained.
This position will report to the Assistant Vice President of Donor Experiences & Operations and will oversee the Gift Compliance and Stewardship teams.

Job Duty 1 - Ensure institutional compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Georgia Tech policies related to donor intent, restricted gifts, and the appropriate, timely use of philanthropic funds.
Job Duty 2 - Oversee monitoring and auditing of donor-funded accounts, utilizing detailed financial and development data to ensure funds are used as intended, identify underutilized or inactive funds, and address compliance risks.
Job Duty 3 - Partner with academic and administrative leadership (deans, directors, senior finance staff, Development, and Institute leadership) to review fund usage, interpret donor intent, and develop alternative utilization plans when needed.
