Description

Job Purpose
:
Partners for HOME seeks qualified applicants to help oversee the coordination of bridge and permanent housing for homeless households. In this role, the Senior Project Manager will support and improve the efforts between Atlanta CoC-wide shelter access, outcomes and performance. This role facilitates broad, cross-agency and cross-system communication, coordination, service access, outcome tracking, and accountability in support of new and existing shelter programs.

This role will directly oversee the implementation and performance of the Rapid Resolution work throughout the CoC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Positions shelters to continually orient towards goals of becoming exit-focused environments, centered on quick diversion, proactive problem solving and exit planning, and other activities that seek to reduce the length of time clients spend unhoused.
  • Manage the CoC’s Rapid Resolution funding and/or contracts, which seek to facilitate participating shelter partners to identify and support exit pathways for clients that result in rehousing or other rapid shelter exits.
  • Facilitate the program’s daily briefing to track client progress and outcomes, provide troubleshooting, and identify emerging issues.
  • Provide direct training and support to partners and staff across the emergency shelter system to more efficiently and accurately connect clients to appropriate exit pathways.
  • Conduct regular follow-up with internal staff and system partners to ensure follow-through in alignment with rapid exit metrics and program goals.
  • Collaborate with other system component project managers (Outreach PM, Unit Acquisition PM, Housing PM, etc. ), CoC partners, and community stakeholders to identify opportunities for improved shelter coordination and system efficiencies.
  • Coordinate closely with CoC Unit Acquisition Team, Housing Team, Outreach Team, etc. to seamlessly connect housing-ready shelter residents and attendant shelter staff to housing resources efficiently and effectively.
Crisis Shelter Coordination
  • Provide crisis shelter coordination broadly across the entire CoC shelter system to achieve continuity across shelters and a coordinated shelter design.
  • On an as-needed basis (e.g., during inclement winter weather), serve as the CoC’s lead in the coordination and execution of crisis shelter operations.
  • Engage City, County, and CoC leadership to align community-wide emergency shelter responses during crisis events. Inclusive of establishing and managing supply chains to secure critical resources, such as cots, blankets, and food.
  • In conjunction with CoC partners, serve as point person for the creation of temporary crisis shelter spaces to enhance system capacity for the duration of crisis events.
  • Facilitate cross-agency staffing/volunteer coordination to ensure adequate staffing of temporary shelter spaces.
System Coordination and Partnerships
  • Represent the CoC Lead Agency in community collaborations, meetings, and planning efforts.
  • Work closely with leaders from across the CoC to innovate new, and improve existing, diversion programming and supports.
  • Maintain and iterate on the CoC’s shelter service standards and empower partner providers to implement best practices.
  • Foster working environments centered on client and system outcomes, mutual accountability, and continuous improvement.
